A lawyer’s journey should always be about stepping up your game – learning new skills and acquiring new knowledge. This assumes greater importance if you are a human rights lawyer – the distinctive nature of strategic litigation means that the benefit (of being a better human rights lawyer) will extend beyond the individual client as a successful case or submission translates to better protection of human rights and constitutional freedoms in Malaysia.
Recognising that the acquisition of human rights knowledge is important (to lawyers and human rights activists), the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) series of LB Training seeks to continue the growth of lawyers, law students and the legal and human rights community in the area of human rights. This is the first ever online human rights training in Malaysia and is aimed at making human rights training more convenient and flexible – users are able to access the training anytime, anywhere and schedule study/ lectures in their own time. The first of the CLE series is an online training course on freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
